GX

7.2.12

The GX SDK

The GX is the base system for the majority of the ARH Inc. products. It is a collection of loadable modules and library functions and gives an ease to program interface to the hardware devices.

The currently supported programming languages and the usable interfaces are the following: C, C++; Java (jgx.jar); VB.Net, C# (gxdotnet8.dll); VBasic 6, Delphi (gximage.ocx, gxlabel.ocx, gxmotdet.ocx, gxvariant.ocx).

This documentation gives a detailed description of the Application Programming Interface (API) of the GX system. It contains the description of definitions, enumerations, functions and classes for the C++ programming language.

The GX_NAMESPACES global define

The GX_NAMESPACES define enables the usage of GX system namespaces. If it is globally defined the gx namespace is created and the GX system functions and classes are added to this namespace. For the functions and classes of other systems based on the GX system separate namespaces are defined.

If this define is not set, then the GX system and the dependent systems do not use namespaces. This does not forbit the usage of other namespaces just places the GX system and dependent system functions in the global namespace.

Next browse the groups list, check the gxsd.h or check the Change Log in the reference manual for differences against the previous versions.
